The new year is a good time to take stock and reflect on the past year. Our year has been full of joy and hope. Our own children and the children we work with are all thriving and happy; that is incredibly fulfilling. We are looking back on our Best Educational Activities and Posts of 2015.
When Sarah and I started Mosswood Connections we were looking for an outlet for our creativity and we wanted to help others by sharing our experiences parenting our children and working with children who have special needs. Life has been incredibly busy, full of family and work obligations and sometimes we did not have the time to share as much as we would have liked, but we are pleased with what we produced and shared this year. We hope that you have enjoyed our activities and posts as well.
It is gratifying to us that some of our most viewed posts are from years past.

Thank you for always having fresh new ideas of stay at home Moms. I missed the emotions scavenger hunt and plan to use that with C soon.
We are happy that you like our activities, thanks!
You had soooo many great posts!! I of course love all of your kids activities. Also the Leaky Brain Syndrome hit the nail on the head to my condition! Glad I am not alone 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by and reading. We are finding a wonderful community of people also affected by LBS. 😉
You have some great resources here, especially those about helping kids express their emotions. Bookmarking to read later!

Oh my goodness. Plunger games? I need to check that one out. My daughter asked for a plunger for Christmas, and I have been wondering what we could do with it.
Your daughter sounds like a lot of fun. I bet that she could figure out a few more plunger games for us!
I love number 1 and 2 such fantastic ideas, often an area I struggle to find activities in to help young children but these are great.
Thank you! We are glad that you like them!
